Privacy Policy

Last updated 3 August 2026

Draft — not legal advice. This document was generated as a starting point and has not been reviewed by an attorney. Have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review it before you rely on it.

This policy explains what TakeProfit HQ collects when you buy and use a membership, why, and what we do with it.

What we collect

  • Email address — from your Square checkout, so we can identify your membership and contact you about it.
  • Square identifiers — a customer ID and subscription ID that let us check whether your membership is active.
  • Subscription status and billing period — whether the subscription is active, cancelled, or lapsed, and the date it is paid through.
  • Discord user ID — if and when you link your Discord account, so membership can be matched to community access.

What we never store

We never see or store your card details. Payment is handled entirely on Square’s hosted checkout. Card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes go to Square and never reach our servers.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

Why we process it

  • To provide the membership you bought and to manage your access.
  • To take the recurring payment you authorized.
  • To answer support requests.
  • To meet tax, accounting, and other legal obligations.

Who we share it with

  • Square — payment processing and subscription billing. Square is the controller of your payment data; see Square’s privacy notice.
  • Discord — the community runs on Discord, and your use of it is subject to Discord’s privacy policy.
  • Our hosting and database providers — who store this site and its membership records on our behalf.
  • Authorities, where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This site sets no advertising or tracking cookies. If analytics are added later, this policy will be updated before they go live and the provider will be named here.

How long we keep it

Membership records are kept while your membership is active and afterwards for as long as we need them for accounting, tax, and legal purposes — typically seven years for financial records. After that they are deleted or anonymized.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete, or export your personal data, to object to or restrict processing, or to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these, email dylan@excelerence.com.

Note that we may need to keep some records — payment history in particular — even after a deletion request, where the law requires it.

Security

Data is transmitted over HTTPS. Credentials are held server-side and never exposed to the browser. Access to membership records is restricted to those who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable measures to protect what we hold.

Children

The Service is not for anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Changes

We will post updates to this policy here and change the date at the top. Material changes will be notified in the community or by email.
